WHAT IS JUBILEE
Jubilee: A Black Feminist Homecoming, is a virtual experience celebrating the legacy, power, and possibilities of Black feminisms. It will stream live on August 28th.
When and where is Jubilee?
Jubilee will stream live on this website, Facebook, and Youtube on August 28, 2021 starting at 4:00 PM PST/7:00PM EST and ending at 6:00 PM PST/9:00 PM EST. Register today to receive direct links to view the live stream and receive a digital copy of the Jubilee Black Feminist Workbook
Who should attend?
Black people interested in celebrating the legacy, power, and possibilities of Black feminisms, and the liberation of Black people.
Why should I attend?
If you want to learn about the multifaceted nature of Black feminism and how it will help us get free, gain a deeper understanding of Black feminisms, and be inspired by the history and activism of Black feminisms — you should come! And bring your friends!

Registration is not required but recommended if you would like to receive the Jubilee Digital Workbook and the latest updates.

What is the time commitment for Jubilee?
Jubilee will be 90 minutes of programming, preceded by a 30 minute pep rally pre-show.
I have accessibility needs. What accommodation will be provided?
ASL and CART (live captioning) will be available during Jubilee and the pre-show.
Do I have to sign up for sessions?
No need to sign up for any sessions! Jubilee will be a 90 minute virtual event streamed here on the Jubilee website and on Black Feminist Future’s Youtube and Facebook accounts.

Will there be events leading up to Jubilee?
We’ll be hosting monthly events leading up to Jubilee. They will be posted here on the Jubilee website. Also, follow Black Feminist Future on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook and use the hashtags #Jubilee and #BlackFeministHomecoming to join the conversation.

The magnitude of Black feminist leaders, activism and movements is a near impossible feat to cover in one project. As an organization, it is our Intention to continue to expand and amplify the multifaceted nature of Black feminism. With Jubilee, we hope to share stories, create a path to deeper understanding, and facilitate connections. We hope you will immerse yourself in these stories- some new, some old and strengthen your commitment.
